My name is Keith Bains and I have a small family run kennels, based in rural County Durham, with my wife Julie. We have owned and trained Labradors for use within the shooting field for 20 years.
Breckonmuir Kennels were established in 2006.

My training program has progressed over the past ten years, where my goal has been to produce quality working gundogs utilising some of the very best bloodlines in the country. Our breeding program is implemented through the selection of top quality lines chosen to enhance the performance of gundogs within the shooting field and field trial competition.
